VLAB Emerging Business Forum: Integrating the Clean Tech Value Chain

Linking Research, Businesses, Venture Capitalists, Service Providers and Government Stimulus

Location

Cooley Godward Kronish LLP, 3175 Hanover Street, Palo Alto

Event Description:

Today’s Clean Tech environment is top of mind in the world and especially the USA. Every address given by federal and local officials have “clean energy” as a pillar. Our traditional energy providers have been large utilities and corporate entities that have primarily based their economic models on oil and fossil fuel. Now the factors of oil price and scarcity, global climate impact, and energy independence set the stage for diversification. An entrepreneurial approach to solving this problem creates and enables diversification. The challenge is not a lack of ideas or exuberance but constructing and connecting a value chain that will accelerate the formulation, funding, adoption, and wide spread implementation of technologies and methods to build the “clean energy” pillar we need.

Join us is in an interactive ½ day session of discussion and ideas from representatives of clean tech emerging businesses, VC’s, labs, universities, and service providers about building the value chain from all sources to enter the clean energy market. Pre-register online for $40 and on-site registration for $50. Deadline for registration is April 16 at noon.
